Terms & Conditions of Hall Rental1) All Renters must sign a contact agreeing to the conditions stated. The contract shall serve as a binding agreement between the Renter and HERITAGE HALL. 2) Friday and Saturday fees for the rental of HERITAGE HALL are assigned on the basis of 10am to 2am 3) Deposit is refundable 10 days after the rental if there is no damage or loss to the hall or grounds. All trash must be removed immediately following the event or a minimum charge of $200 will be deducted from the deposit. If there is damage or loss or if the terms of the rental agreement are not followed, the deposit will be used to cover the cost of additional clean-up time, repair or replacement. To the extent that it is not adequate, the excess will be paid by the Renter. A valid charge card number will be kept on file for such purposes. 4) HERITAGE HALL is not responsible for any rental or personal property lost, damaged, or stolen on the premises. 5) Confirmation of the Renter’s reservation for use of HERITAGE HALL is dependent upon receipt of first half of hall fee with the contract which has been signed by the responsible person. 6) Cancellation of any function (less than 6 months before event) will result in the forfeit of the rental fee. Cancellation must be in writing. HERITAGE HALL will make every attempt to re-rent and if successful, will refund the rental fee less a $100 administrative charge. 7) HERITAGE HALL can accommodate a maximum of 350 guests. Table size, placement and number of chairs will reduce this occupancy accordingly. Strict adherence to this capacity is required. 8) The Renter shall instruct the caterer to provide all personnel, food, drinks, tableware and extra furniture & linens as needed. All deliveries must be coordinated with the hall management. Personnel for setting up, taking down and storage of rental equipment shall be provided by the Renter. 9) The Renter and the caterer shall have access to HERITAGE HALL at 10am, day of the event, unless previously approved in writing by the Hall Manager. Decorations must be pre-approved by hall management; no decorations permitted that could leave permanent damage to hall. Renter is to remove everything brought into the Hall including trash, debris, empty bottles, flowers and decorations. Unless prior permission is granted by the Hall Manager, all materials and equipment must be removed from the hall immediately after the function. Any cost of repairing damage or of replacing lost equipment attributed to the caterers will be billed to the Renter. 10) If there will be alcohol served at an event, the renter assumes all responsibility for the actions of their guests or attendees and any damages or nuisances caused thereby. Renter agrees that all measures necessary will be taken to insure that alcohol will not be served to anyone under age. Renter will remove from the premises any person in attendance at the event that is deemed to be a nuisance or problem, and if tenant does not remove said person or persons, Heritage Hall management reserves the right to call the police and have said person or persons officially removed. The Heritage Hall or its owners or parent company will not be held responsible or liable by any party for any situation resulting from the serving or consumption of alcohol at any event. 11) DJs and bands and guests will be expected to abide by courteous noise control levels. 12) Smoking is not allowed in Heritage Hall, please see that this rule is honored. 13) In the event of the employment of an attorney by HERITAGE HALL because of the violation by Renter of any term or condition of this Rental Agreement, Renter shall pay such attorney’s fees and other costs of expenses incurred by Landlord in connection herewith. |
